Reviews for the Oppo F27 Pro+
Source: India Today
The Oppo F27 Pro+ is not a bad phone. Not at all. But it exists in a segment where the competition is so incredibly tough. There are even other Oppo phones in this segment - such as Oppo Reno 12, which is quite close - that offer more bang for the buck. Having said that, the F27 Pro+ does offer quite a few niceties to users. The phone is robustly built and comes with class-leading water and dust resistance. Its performance is good enough as a daily driver, its battery life is fantastic and its display - although not made for 4K content - is bright and vibrant. But the camera performance lets it down and I wish it had a better chipset.

In some ways, the F27 Pro+ is quite an easy recommendation. The handset features a head-turning design, a slim body, a pretty good curved display, and durability features that make it the perfect companion for someone who lives an active lifestyle. It also offers impressive camera performance. However, on the other hand, at this price, you can get phones that offer better performance and battery backup. OPPO F27 Pro+ changes the way you use your phone as you don’t need to slap a case or screen protector on it. If you accidentally leave the phone behind in the pocket of your jeans before it goes through a washing machine, you should still find your phone to be working just fine after the wash cycle. You can use it in the rain without wiping the droplets off your display and you can even wash it clean.

Priced at ₹27,999, the OPPO F27 Pro+ presents a conundrum. Despite its sleek design and sturdy build, its underwhelming processor, lackluster camera, and HDR-less display make it a tough sell. The software, riddled with bloatware, detracts from its otherwise premium exterior. Yet, if you cherish a beautifully designed phone with exceptional durability and impressive battery life, the OPPO F27 Pro+ does stand out under ₹30,000. It’s a decent buy for those who prioritise aesthetics and longevity over performance. The OPPO F27 Pro+ made headlines by being India’s very first IP69-rated phone. The phone makes tall durability claims as well backed by a flagship Gorilla Glass Victus 2 display protection and an SGS 5 Stars Drop resistance certification, making it stand out to those who value durability above all.

The Oppo F27 Pro Plus 5G is a durable and stylish phone with a long-lasting battery. It boasts exceptional toughness with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making it ideal for clumsy users or those in harsh environments. The display is beautiful and functional, even working with wet fingers. However, the camera system is decent for everyday use, but low-light performance could be better. The phone also comes with bloatware, which can be a nuisance. If you prioritise durability, battery life, and a stylish design, the Oppo F27 Pro Plus 5G is a solid option. However, if you're a power user or a photography enthusiast, there might be better choices available at this price point.

Oppo dominates the mid-range segment, even if they release a mediocre product, people will consider buying it. The same goes for the Oppo F27 Pro Plus. It has nothing additional compared to its sibling F27 Pro. Still, there are a couple of pointers that are worth mentioning. Oppo F27 Pro+ is an overall great phone if you want a little chunk of everything, whether it’s hardware, software, connectivity, camera, or other aspects. If you are looking for the best phone under 30,000, you should check out the Xiaomi Poco F6 would be an excellent choice. It offers advanced performance, impressive display quality, and an appropriate camera setup. Still, if you like the Oppo F27 Pro Plus premium design and don’t worry about cutting corners in other departments, only then consider purchasing this phone.

6.70":
It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.72.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
