The Oppo Find N5 was rumored to make a global debut as the OnePlus Open 2. But right before the launch, the company confirmed that it ditched plans for a foldable phone in 2025, which means Oppo's new foldable smartphone won't get rebranded this year.
However, a reliable tipster, Max Jambor, shared a cryptic message about an upcoming OnePlus device, which simply reads "OnePlus : Pagani" and is followed by a two-hands emoji. While this cryptic tip doesn't reveal much, another tipster, Abhishek Yadav, has chimed in, sharing that the device is codenamed "Pagani."
Abhishek further shares that it will be a foldable phone, and Max may have been hinting at the same with the two-hands emoji. But then again, OnePlus has already confirmed that the company won't be launching a foldable phone this year. So, it's possible that the foldable phone in question is set for a 2026 launch.
Another interesting bit about this tip is the codename "Pagani," which is an Italian sports car manufacturer. While it's not certain, the foldable phone can involve a collaboration with Pagani Automobili, similar to what Honor has been doing for a while now with its RSR Porsche Design models.
Now, although Abhishek has noted that Max's tip is about a foldable phone, it could also be about the rumored OnePlus 13 Mini or OnePlus 13T. That phone is expected to make its Chinese debut around May, and it could have a special collaboration edition with Pagani.
