Realme Watch 3 Pro to launch a day before the Apple Watch Pro as leak reveals design and specifications
Realme has officially confirmed the launch of the Watch 3 Pro, a smartwatch that the company teased earlier this month. According to the company, the Watch 3 Pro will debut on Tuesday, September 6, a day before Apple's next hardware event. Based on current rumours, Apple will use its September 7 event to unveil the Watch Series 8 and the Watch Pro, details of which we have discussed separately.
As we reported earlier this month, Realme teased that the Watch 3 Pro has an AMOLED display and supports GPS connectivity. On the face of it, the Watch 3 Pro resembles its predecessor. However, the former has flatter edges than the latter, while its sole hardware button protrudes slightly more from its metal frame too. Although Realme is attempting to keep the Watch 3 Pro under wraps to an extent, 91mobiles has outlined several details, as well as a full marketing render.
According to the website, the Watch 3 Pro has a 1.78-inch display, up from the 1.75-inch panel included in the Watch 2 Pro. Supposedly, the AMOLED display operates at 60 Hz, 448 x 368 pixels, and 500 nits but with a 68.7% screen-to-body ratio. Based on 91mobiles' leaked marketing image, a particularly large chin is to blame for the low screen-to-body ratio. Pricing and other specifications have not leaked yet, but we imagine that the Watch 3 Pro will at least match its predecessor in terms of featuring a SpO2 sensor, a heart rate monitor and a waterproof housing. It appears that next month's launch will be an India-only release, too.
