The Realme P4 Power will be officially unveiled on Thursday, January 29, as Realme has now officially confirmed on a teaser website. This page also unveils the back of the smartphone in white and orange, but the phone will also be available in a blue color. Moreover, Realme has opted for a modern design with a partially transparent back panel that is slightly curved on all four sides.
The camera bump houses three lenses, an LED flash and an "AI" label. The picture also confirms that the main camera has a resolution of 50 megapixel. The obvious highlight in terms of specifications is the battery, which offers a gigantic capacity of 10,001mAh. But with a weight of 7.69 oz, the Realme P4 Power is just marginally heavier than many competing devices.
Realme advertises a battery life of 1.5 days with normal use, a standby time of 38 days and 32.5 hours of video streaming in the YouTube app. The battery of the Realme P4 Power is said to retain 80% of its original capacity after 1,650 charging cycles. Realme goes even further and guarantees that the battery will remain above 80% capacity for four years. If this is not the case, the battery will be replaced free of charge.
Charging takes place at up to 80 watts, but the smartphone can also be used like a power bank to charge other devices at up to 27 watts via USB-C. Realme promises three major Android updates and four years of security patches.
While Realme has not yet confirmed the remaining specifications, a Geekbench listing already shows that the Realme P4 Power will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400. It’s unclear if this new Android smartphone will be launched globally outside of China, but older devices like the Realme P3 5G are also available in some European markets.
