AMD Ryzen 7 7735H The AMD Ryzen 7 7735H is a mobile processor for large notebooks (e.g. gaming laptops) based on the Rembrandt R (Refresh) generation. The SoC contains eight Zen 3+ cores (octa-core CPU) which are clocked at 3.2 GHz (guaranteed base clock) up to 4.75 GHz (turbo) and support SMT / hyperthreading (16 threads). The chip is manufactured in the 6 nm process at TSMC and was presented at the beginning of 2023. Compared to the older Ryzen 7 6800H the 7735HS offers a 50 MHz higher turbo clock and a potentially higher TDP of up to 54 watts.
The Rembrandt Refresh APUs continue to offer support for USB4 with 40 Gbps, PCI-E Gen 4 and DDR5-4800MT/s or LPDDR5-6400MT/s.
The performance of the R7 7735H should be comparable to the old Ryzen 7 6800HS or 6800H (depending on the TDP used).
The integrated graphics card called Radeon 680M is based on the RDNA 2 architecture and offers 12 CUs with up to 2.2 GHz clock speed.
The TDP is specified at 35 to 54 watts, making the CPU also suitable for thinner gaming notebooks.
