Powerful NAS with up to 32 GB RAM and 12-core AMD Ryzen APU goes on sale

The Beelink ME Pro NAS has been available in quite a few flavors since its inception around a year ago. The NAS was first available in China but was launched globally soon after with a mediocre Intel N150 CPU.
It appears that the NAS is now available on Kickstarter with a whole bunch of powerful CPU options. At the entry level, the Intel Pentium J5005, N95, N150, and Core 3 304 CPUs exist. Folks who desire more performance can opt for a Core i5-13500H variant.
At the highest end, the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 APUs take charge. The 12-core, 24-thread HX 470 "Gorgon Point" APU features a boost clock of 5.2 GHz, and is powerful enough to keep up with an Apple M4 Pro in multi-core CPU benchmarks.
As for memory, the
- The J5005 variant tops out at 8 GB of DDR5 RAM.
- The N95 variant tops out at 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
- The N150 and the Core 3 304 variants top out at 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
- The Core i5 13500H, Ryzen AI 7 350, and AI 470 variants top out at 32 GB of DDR5 RAM
Maximum storage capacity depends on whether a customer opts for the 2-bay variant or the 4-bay variant. Maximum storage space for the two-bay variant ranges between 68 TB and 76 TB, and the same for the 4-bay variant ranges between 124 TB and 136 TB.
The I/O on offer has been detailed below:

For folks who care about local AI deployments, it should be noted that the highest-end Ryzen AI HX 470-equipped variant manages an impressive 86 TOPs of AI performance courtesy of its XDNA 2 NPU.
The Core 3 304 and Ryzen AI 7 350 variants also feature onboard NPUs, although good for only 24 and 66 TOPS respectively.
Other notable features include swappable motherboard for easy upgradability and maintenance, preinstalled Fygo OS for those who prefer a plug and play experience, as well as a vapor chamber-equipped cooling setup for sustained workloads.
The Beelink ME Pro is now already available for purchase on Kickstarter. Including a 30% super ultra discount, the lowest-end J5005-equipped two-bay variant costs $299. The highest-end Ryzen AI 9 HX 470-equipped variant, in the 4-bay flavor, costs $1,379.
