Pokemon-inspired Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker arriving soon, likely with Pikachu and Mewtwo-inspired themes

Apple's subsidiary Beats has teased what appears to be an upcoming variant of the Pill bluetooth speaker aimed squarely at fans of the popular Japanese franchise, Pokemon.

The teaser video heavily hints at a Pikachu-themed product, which, as those who keep up with Beats leaks might know, was already leaked earlier this month by BridBrattTV via a Facebook post.

The actual product was not showcased, however, with only the packaging being visible inside a shopping cart.

Interestingly, the teaser video tagged "Time to catch something new" also appeared to hint at a second Pokemon alongside Pikachu, if the purple flashes are anything to go by.

Pokemon enthusiasts might be able to guess that a Mewtwo, Espeon, or even Gengar-themed variant of the Beats Pill speaker might also be on the cards.

The latest version of the Beats Pill bluetooth speaker launched in 2024, featuring a single woofer and tweeter, IP67 water and dust resistance, and a claimed 24-hour battery life.

Folks who do not care much about Pokemon can get the standard version for just $129.95 on Amazon.
