Retroid has switched up the colour options in which the Pocket Mini will shortly be available. Supposedly responding to community feedback, Retroid has also teased that its latest gaming handheld will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.

Retroid has shared new details about the Pocket Mini, a forthcoming gaming handheld it revealed less than a week ago. To recap, the company originally showcased the device through a short teaser video before confirming its dimensions and weight yesterday. However, it turns out that the colour shown during the Pocket Mini's debut will not make it to production.

In fact, it appears that Retroid has replaced all of the six previously known colours. On top of that, it has slimmed these down to five, with two black and two white options joined by a grey option. While that may sound like three colours, Retroid plans to distinguish the two black and white variants with different colour accents, as the images below show.

Additionally, it has hinted that the Pocket Mini could be more powerful than many contemporaries, including the Anbernic RG40XX H (curr. $89.99 on Amazon). Specifically, Retroid has based the device around a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, albeit not one that it is willing to name just yet. Nonetheless, we would expect the company to do so in the coming days.
