Phanteks, the Dutch company known for its PC cases and cooling gear, just dropped the Revolt 2200 — a monstrous fully modular power supply with 2200W capacity. Aimed squarely at the high-performance workstation market, this 80 PLUS Platinum-certified unit is designed to handle demanding hardware configurations, such as those with AI workflows.
The Revolt 2200W is perfect if you’re running dual Intel Xeon processors alongside not one but two RTX 4090 GPUs from NVIDIA. Thanks to its pair of native 12VHPWR connectors, each pumping out up to 600W, the PSU can easily dish out a massive 1200W just for the GPUs alone.
Along with the two 12VHPWR connectors, it’s also packing nine PCIe 8-pin connectors, giving you plenty of room for multi-GPU setups or other power-hungry components. For something this powerful, it’s surprisingly compact, measuring 210mm x 150mm x 86mm. But heads up — it’s not exactly lightweight, coming in at a hefty 5.7kg (12.6 lbs).
Phanteks built the Revolt 2200 to handle some tough conditions, too. It’s rated to keep working in temperatures from -10°C to 50°C (14°F to 122°F) and even at altitudes up to 5000 meters (16,404 feet). Plus, you’re covered with a 10-year warranty, and it’s got a bunch of safety features onboard, like OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP, OCP, OTP, and SIP.
This power monster is priced at 3,799 Chinese yuan (around $535 USD) and is up for preorder in China.
