Archive.org versionWe don’t want to be too harsh on the EasyNote TE, as it’s a perfectly functional laptop for basic computing work. However, compared to the Lenovo G580 which costs only a little more, the TE11HC isn't great value. The EasyNote lacks the Lenovo's USB 3.0 ports, Bluetooth radio and its faster processor and graphics chip. The Packard Bell might have 2GB more RAM than the G580, but it's an unnecessary expense and doesn't boost performance.

Archive.org versionThe Packard Bell is a cheap machine and while that's great for the bank balance, making a laptop this affordable involves numerous compromises. It's a slow machine when running applications and games, battery life is average, and the screen can't match the best panels – and while build quality is reasonable, the keyboard disappoints. It's only worth buying if you need a budget machine for basic tasks.

Archive.org versionThe TE69 looks and performs like a low-cost laptop. Its performance and screen quality are merely adequate, and if you can afford more than £400 then there are certainly better alternatives that are only slightly more expensive. However, the EasyNote TE69 can still handle routine web browsing and running most office tasks well, and it’s not a bad choice if your budget can’t stretch to even £400.

Packard Bell: Packard Bell is a subsidiary of Taiwan-based Acer. It is a name used by two different consumer electronics companies. The first was an American radio manufacturer founded in 1926, that later became a defense contractor and manufacturer of other consumer electronics, such as television sets. Teledyne acquired the business in 1978. In 1986, investors bought the name for a newly formed personal computer manufacturer. Originally the company produced discount computers in the US, later computers were produced for the European market. NEC took it over in the late 1990s. Acer acquired it in 2008. In spite of the similarity of their names, there has never been any corporate connection between the original or later Packard Bell and Hewlett Packard, or Bell System. Packard Bell is an international notebook manufacturer. Many years, the company focussed ruggedized laptops.
PB is not present in the smartphone/tablet market and a rather small manufacturer of laptops. There are hardly any reviews since 2015.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) HD Graphics: Onboard graphics card that is built in the new Arrandale CPUs (Core i3 / i5 / i7 Dual Cores). Depending on the model and Turbo Boost, the GMA HD is clocked between 166 and 766 MHz.
Intel HD Graphics 2000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The 2000 is the slower, internally GT1 called, version with 6 Execution Units (EUs).
Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processor graphics card in the high end Ivy Bridge models. Offers a different clock speed in the different CPU models (ULV to desktop quad core) and therefore a different performance.
