Oppo A94 5G and A74 now available for sale across Europe

Oppo announced the A94 5G, known elsewhere as the Reno5 Z 5G, back in April, and the device is now available in Europe along with other variants including the A74, A74 5G, and A54 5G.

The Oppo A94 5G uses the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.0 storage that can be expanded up to 256 GB via a microSD. The A94 5G offers a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with just a 60 Hz refresh rate. The device features a quad-camera setup comprised of a 48 MP primary camera, 8 MP wide-angle, and two 2 MP sensors for depth and macro. Selfies are served by a 16 MP front facing sensor situated on the top left corner of the display.

The A94 5G comes with a 4,310 mAh battery with support for 30 W fast charging. Color OS based on Android 11 comes as the operating system. The Oppo A94 5G will be available in Europe in Cosmo Blue and Fluid Black color options at prices starting from €389.

Another device that is also going on sale today is the Oppo A74. While the A74 5G offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, the A74 is powered by a Snapdragon 662. Specifications wise, the A74 seems to be better equipped than its 5G cousin in certain aspects. The A74 uses a 6.4-inch display with a 60 Hz refresh rate, but it is an AMOLED unlike the 90 Hz but IPS panel in the A74 5G.

Differences are seen in the camera department as well with the A74 offering a triple-camera comprised of a 48 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP setup while the A74 5G also includes an 8 MP wide-angle shooter. Other features of the Oppo A74 include a microSD slot, 5,000 mAh battery, 6 GB RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The A74 also supports 33 W fast charging.

The Oppo A74 will be available in Prism Black and Midnight Blue color options at prices starting from €249.
