OnePlus releases an iPhone case

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has released a case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. It is named Sandstone, and the case is meant to feel as though the user is holding a OnePlus brand smartphone in his hands. The material is somewhat similar to sandpaper, and should help grip considerably over the regular iPhone's glossy metal exterior.

OnePlus hopes that those who have the OnePlus One or 2 will buy the case for their friends with iPhones in order to show them what they are missing by using a smartphone of a different brand. OnePlus is known for making smartphones that are affordable and high-spec, and although it may not convince iPhone owners to switch brands, it is still a fun gift idea for those who want to spread the word about the OnePlus phones.

Interestingly, the iPhone case comes with an invite for the OnePlus X phone, which is smaller and more affordable than the OnePlus Two, costing only $249. The invite can be used in order to buy the phone, and some of the cases come with a more rare invite for the ceramic version of the smartphone. OnePlus' Sandstone case will set consumers back $20 and is available now on the site.
