Nvidia RTX 40 launch schedule: RTX 4090 is allegedly releasing in October while the RTX 4080 and the RTX 4070 are presumably coming out in November
The RTX 40 series GPUs are almost upon us. Nvidia announced a few days ago that the company will be holding a “GeForce Beyond” broadcast at GTC. It is expected that one or more RTX 40 boards will be unveiled at the event. Now, Paul from RedGamingTech has reported some interesting information regarding the release schedule of the RTX 4000 boards. The latest leak from Paul is in line with recent reports from Chiphell and Moore’s Law is Dead.
According to Paul, the RTX 4090 is likely launching mid-next month. Furthermore, the leaker says there is a possibility Nvidia may launch the RTX 4090 Ti alongside the non-Ti version. If Team Green does decide to launch the RTX 4090 Ti, it wouldn’t be surprising since Nvidia is reportedly preparing the behemoth with an extravagant cooler design.
Paul also thinks that the RTX 4070 and the RTX 4080 may launch in mid-November. The information is apparently accurate as nApolean, the Senior Editor of Chiphell, also claimed in the Chiphell forums that Nvidia will showcase the RTX 4090 on September 20 at GTC and launch the board in October followed by the RTX 4080 that will come a month after the flagship Nvidia card. Similarly, hardware leaker Moore’s Law is Dead also confirmed the release schedule shared by nApolean but added that the RTX 4070 will also launch early/mid-November.
Finally, the leaker asserts that the RTX 4060 and other lower-end variants will launch next year. Nvidia is allegedly doing so to wait until AMD announces or is close to announcing the RDNA 3 architecture. Fortunately, we are only a few days away from Nvidia’s GeForce Beyond broadcast. So, we won’t have to wait too long to find out Team Green’s final plans regarding the RTX 40 series GPUs.
