New Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus leak reveals all about Xiaomi's next mid-range smartphones

The release of the Redmi Note 14 series is fast approaching. While Xiaomi has now confirmed a release date, it has shared little to no specifics about its next Redmi Note smartphones. In fact, it has focused so far on the improved durability of its Redmi Note series, full details of which we have covered separately.

Nonetheless, specifications relating to all known Redmi Note 14 models have now surfaced online courtesy of sources on Chinese social media. Embedded below, the specification leak points to various similarities existing between devices, as is also the case with the current Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus (curr. $375 on Amazon). For example, it seems that the Remi Note 14 and Redmi Note 14 Pro will share the same 5,500 mAh battery. 

Conversely, Xiaomi will use the same 1220p and 120 Hz AMOLED display across the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus. By contrast, the Redmi Note 14 will make do with a lesser 1080p panel, although all three devices will feature 6.67-inch displays. Meanwhile, only the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is expected to contain a 200 MP primary camera this time around, which will be joined by a 32 MP and 2x optical telephoto camera sensor.

Unsurprisingly, Xiaomi will equip the trio with different chipsets. Namely, the leaked specification sheet claims that the Redmi Note 14 will combine UFS 2.2 flash storage and LPDDR5 RAM with MediaTek's Dimensity 7050. In comparison, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will jump to faster UFS 3.1 flash storage, which will work with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Dimensity 8020 chipests, respectively.
