The 2026 Kia EV9 Nightfall Edition has been unveiled at the 2025 New York International Auto Show. This version of the three-row SUV is said to offer a particularly stylish design and boasts a performance upgrade.
The EV9 Nightfall Edition is available for the dual-motor Land all-wheel drive (AWD) trim in either six- or seven-seat configurations. It features Gloss Black elements on the front grille, skid plates and roof rails, and exclusive Gloss Black 20-inch wheels with 275/50R-20 all-season tires. Other exclusives include the Roadrider Brown paint color and a black interior with genuine stitching.
Also, the new EV9 Nightfall Edition comes with the Boost feature, increasing torque from 443 lb-ft (~600 Nm) to 516 lb-ft (~700 Nm). Combined with the 379 hp from the motors, this allows you to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (~100 kph) in 4.5 seconds. The Boost feature is included in this package for free, but it can also be purchased separately for other EV9 Wind AWD and Land AWD trims. Plus, the 2026 EV9 switches to the North American Charging Standard (NACS), meaning that you can use the Tesla Supercharger network to recharge. You can access Combined Charging System networks too, though this requires an optional adapter.
Kia notes that the EV9 for the US market is manufactured at its West Point plant in Georgia and is eligible for the $7,500 federal EV tax credit. The 2026 EV9 Nightfall Edition is expected to go on sale in the US before the end of June, though the price has yet to be revealed. As a rough guide, the 2025 Kia EV9 Land AWD starts from $69,900.
