Anker has launched the SOLIX F2600 Portable Power Station in the US, a successor to the SOLIX F2000 or 767 PowerHouse device. The new model has a 2,560Wh LiFePO4 battery, providing increased capacity compared to the 2,048Wh of the F2000. Anker suggests that its latest power station is compatible with 99% of appliances, powering a microwave for 3.3 hours or charging a phone around 162 times.
You can charge the F2600 to 80% in 1.4 hours via AC or two hours via solar panels, thanks to HyperFlash technology. The outputs on the F2600 are similar to the F2000, with a car outlet, USB-C and USB-A ports. While Anker bills both models as having 2,400W AC outlets, this is the peak power for the F2000, while the F2600’s outputs have up to 3,600W power. Other features include app-based controls and insights, a built-in light and integrated handle and wheels to make the power bank easier to transport.
You can now buy the Anker SOLIX F2600 Portable Power Station at Amazon in the US for US$1,899 thanks to a US$300 coupon; the gadget typically retails for US$2,199. When Anker will sell the new device at its online store remains unclear. The company has not yet announced plans to roll the product out to other markets.
