New Amazfit smartwatch update brings BioCharge related improvement

A new update is rolling out to the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch. Software version 4.5.3.3 arrives around three weeks after the last release, version 4.4.2.3, which brought map related improvements.
Software version 4.5.3.3 has been reported by Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch users on Reddit. This 11.84MB file is said to bring optimizations to the depth algorithm, linked to the Outdoor Freediving and Indoor Freediving workouts. Improvements are also said to have been made to the turn reminder page, which is served to users mid-workout when using the route navigation feature. Plus, Zepp Health indicates that it has enhanced the BioCharge algorithm, though it does not quantify the benefit for users.
This Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro update also tackles a couple of bugs. Firstly, Zepp Health has resolved an issue with the Outdoor Freediving and Indoor Freediving depth charts. Secondly, a problem which could cause the smartwatch to crash during a particularly long outdoor workout has been fixed.
Users of Amazfit’s T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch (curr. $399.99 at Amazon) will be able to download the update via the Zepp App. It is likely rolling out in phases, starting in countries like the US and China, before it reaches Europe.
