Deal | New 2023 Hisense U8K Mini-LED TV with 144Hz and 1,500 nits already discounted by 38%

The three major brands in the television segment are taking their precious time when it comes to price reductions and discounts as many 2023 models are still selling for prices that are fairly close to their rather inflated MSRP. Fortunately, this isn't the case with Hisense's latest Mini-LED TVs, which not only includes the very affordable already discounted U6K, but also the latest enthusiast-grade set in the form of the U8K.

Specifically, both Best Buy and Amazon have dropped their prices for the 55-inch Hisense U8K to US$799 including free shipping or store pickup. This sale offers a US$500 or 38 percent discount relative to the official list price of US$1,299. Needless to say, this is the Mini-LED TV's lowest price ever, which is also illustrated by Camel's price history. Unfortunately, the larger 65-inch and 75-inch variants of the Hisense U8K are not in stock at Amazon and have not received any discounts at Best Buy just yet.

Similarly to the excellent predecessor from last year, the Hisense U8K is one of the brightest TVs in the sub-US$1,000 segment as its Mini-LED backlight can hit a peak HDR brightness of up to 1,500 nits according to the official spec sheet. The Dolby Vision-compatible quantum dot panel further sports a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz and comes with four HDMI 2.1 ports that are essential for owners of a current-gen gaming console. As usual, patient buyers who can wait a bit longer with their purchase may benefit from even steeper discounts in the future, but early adopters who would like to upgrade to this 2023 set now should certainly make sure to take advantage of this first considerable price drop.
