The NanoPC-T6 LTS is a new single-board computer with a very decent range of features. The model not only supports the use of fast SSDs, but also offers several options for outputting image content.

A new variant of the NanoPC-T6 is now available, namely the NanoPC-T6 LTS, which only brings a few minor changes. Specifically, the model can no longer be used with a Mini PCIe 4G mobile connection. Apart from that, the single-board computer remains well equipped and offers many connections. For example, there are two HDMI 2.1 outputs, one of which can output 8K material at 60 frames per second. As is usual for single-board computers, MIPI-DSI is also available, but image output is also possible via USB type C. The model can receive image signals via HDMI 2.0 and MIPI-CSI. A jack socket is available, as well as a PH-2A connector for microphones.

External storage media and accessories can be connected via USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. However, the NanoPC-T6 LTS cannot be used with Bluetooth input devices, as there is no WiFi card with Bluetooth support, but one can be retrofitted via M.2. However, two Ethernet ports with a maximum data transfer rate of 2.5 GBit/s are always available for network connections. A corresponding NVMe SSD can be connected via M.2, which is supported by four PCIe 3.0 lanes and correspondingly high performance. Depending on the chosen configuration, 32, 64 or 256 GB of eMMC memory is available and a microSD card can be used. The built-in RK3588 SoC has four Cortex A76, four Cortex A55 cores, and has up to 4, 8 or 16 GB of RAM at its disposal.

Sensors and actuators can be connected via a GPIO strip consisting of 40 pins, plus an additional pin strip with 10 GPIO pins, as well as USB 2.0 headers. An IR receiver can also be found on the 110 x 80 millimeter single-board computer. Electrical power is supplied via a round plug and not via USB type C. The model is currently available for an entry-level price of around $119; potential buyers should take into account shipping costs and import fees.
