While rumors claim the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus will soon be ready to launch, the only thing revealed by a Motorola official is that an "exciting" product is coming in June.

Lenovo-backed Zuk 2 Pro is a very interesting handset and, once it goes out of China, it might become a worthy competitor for the flagships that currently dominate the high-end sector of the market. However, Lenovo is also behind Motorola and, according to a statement made during the Zuk 2 Pro launch event, a new Moto handset should come out in early June.

GizmoChina reveals that Lenovo's CEO Yang Yuanqing said they will unveil a new device on June 9th. Unfortunately, he did not mention anything about the specs, features, or the price of this upcoming handset. According to the same source, he only added that the new Motorola handset will be nothing less than exciting.

If the latest rumors about Motorola's plans prove to be true, the company might launch two handsets instead of just one. Known as Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, these smartphones are expected to keep the classic Motorola design and it would not be a surprise to see them packing a metal frame and a fingerprint reader located on the home button on the front. After all, these features slowly become the norm when talking about premium mid-range and high-end handsets.
