Amazon has dropped the price of the Microsoft Surface Pro 10 with an Ultra 7 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 256 GB of storage (model XHM-00002) to its lowest ever of $1,020.40.
The Surface Pro 10 uses an Intel Core Ultra 7 165U processor with 12 cores and 14 threads running up to 4.9 GHz with full compatibility with PC applications, unlike the Surface Pro 11 with Qualcomm Snapdragon X CPUs that do not offer full compatibility.
The slim and lightweight PC tablet measures just 11.3 x 8.2 x 0.37 in. (287 x 209 x 9.3 mm) and weighs 1.94 lbs. (879 g). It features a 13-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,920 pixels, 600 nits of maximum brightness, and anti-reflection coating.
The 1440p web camera along with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers and dual microphones with noise reduction can be used for Microsoft Teams video meetings. A 10.5 MP rear-facing camera can be used to take higher quality photos and videos.
Users can pair the SP10 with a removable Microsoft Surface Pro keyboard cover to use it like a laptop or with a Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2 to use it like a tablet. The Slim Pen 2 conveniently docks into the keyboard cover for storage during transport. The tablet can also be used with the more expensive Surface Pro 13-inch Flex Keyboard with Slim Pen, which offers haptic feedback and wireless use.
The design of the removable keyboard and the built-in tablet stand can make the Surface Pro more difficult to use on laps and uneven surfaces than conventional and 2-in-1 laptops. Detailed device specifications are available from Microsoft.
