Reviews for the Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra 2026
RTX Spark is Nvidia's first SoC and combines a custom ARM-CPU with a Blackwell GPU and up to 128 GB RAM. The new chips are designed for AI workloads, content creators and you can play games as well. We tested the new RTX Spark SoC and compare it with Apple, AMD, Intel & Qualcomm. Update: Surface Laptop Ultra Benchmarks
The Surface Laptop Ultra with RTX Spark is supposed to be Microsoft's best laptop. And while it is a good product, there are some disappointing aspects, especially the Mini-LED panel. It is super bright, but it suffers from ghosting and there is no local dimming.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra combines premium construction, a bright display, versatile connectivity, and powerful NVIDIA graphics. Its strongest appeal lies in local AI development, gaming, and creative applications that benefit from its specialized hardware. However, its price, software compatibility limitations, and battery life make it less suitable for every buyer.
