Just a day before the official release, Meizu M2 specifications and pricing have surfaced online when a Chinese retailer, Tmall, made the device’s webpage available to wide public.
According to the webpage, the Meizu M2 features a polyucarbonate body with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution display. The handset is powered by a quad-core, 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6735 SoC with Mali T720 graphics. It’s worth noting, that the MediaTek’s chipset supports LTE Cat. 4 connectivity. On board, we’ll also find 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage space, expandable via micro-SD card slot.
The Meizu M2’s main camera uses a 13 MP sensor, while the front snapper allows shooting 5 MP selfies. The handset’s body is 8.7 mm thin and the battery capacity is 2500 mAh.
The M2’s price revealed at Tmall’s webpage was CNY 599 which translates to $96, making the device a very good bang for the buck. The handset’s official launch has been set for tomorrow, July 29th.
