Back in July, Chinese startup Maze Mobile released the 6-inch Alpha phablet, after a few short delays caused by last-minute software issues. Earlier today, the company has just confirmed the launch of a variant with the same specs overall, but more memory. If everything goes as planned, the 6 GB Maze Alpha should launch on August 28.
Advertised as a bezel-less handset, the Alpha comes with a 6-inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection a 2.5 GHz MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 64 GB internal storage, a 13 MP + 5 MP dual camera setup on the back, a 5 MP front camera, a 4,000 mAh battery and (almost) stock Android 7.0 Nougat. Maze Mobile has also confirmed a few weeks ago that this handset would get Android O.
The 4 GB variant can be currently purchased starting at US$189.99 on GearBest and a few other similar websites. The price of the 6 GB RAM model has not been unveiled yet, but the early orders might come for about the same price, maybe even less. Maze Mobile should also work on bringing the 6 GB model with 128 GB internal storage to the market, but they did not mention it lately.
