Many of the company's new products will be powered by Intel Core i7 Haswell processors

Maingear, based in Kenilworth New Jersey, is a company that prides itself on offering the highest quality, hand-built, custom desktops, laptops, and workstations. They often make use of the newest components such as CPUs and GPU and are a popular source of gaming computers.

With the release of the new Intel processors, it comes as no surprise that Maingear have announced an update to their lineup that includes Haswell Core i7 processor options for many of their products.

The new Intel chips will be options in SHIFT, F131, Potenza, and Vybe desktops as well as in the Nomad 15 and Nomad 17 lines of laptops. The new configurations try to maximize the benefits of the new chips, and offer a balance of power and efficiency.

Maingear promises that their new Haswell powered custom computers are faster, more efficient, offer better connectivity, and heightened security compared to older models.

Custom computers from the American company start at US$649.00 for a desktop and US$949.00 for notebooks. While not cheap, the company offers lifetime labor and phone support, as well as a one to three year hardware warranty on its products. Prices for the upgraded Haswell powered models have not yet been announced.
