Lenovo launches new desktop PC globally with Intel processors

Lenovo has confirmed plans to update its IdeaCentre desktop series with a new model. Specifically, the company has added the IdeaCentre Tower 14IR11 to its Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website, complete with specifications and device images.
In short, the IdeaCentre Tower 14IRR11 directly replaces the IdeaCentre Tower 14IRR9 (curr. $527 - renewed on Amazon). Despite skipping ahead two generations, the new IdeaCentre Tower retains Intel's Raptor Lake Refresh architecture from its predecessor.

Specifically, the new desktop will be available with up to the Core i7-14700 and 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. In fact, all of Lenovo's processor options remain unchanged from the IdeaCentre Tower 14IRR11, albeit it has now trimmed the older 13th Generation Core processors from its lineup.
Moreover, the IdeaCentre Tower still contains single M.2 2280 and 3.5-inch drive slots. The 14IRR11 loses an optical drive and a front-facing USB Type-C port for two additional front-facing Type-A ports, though. Also, Lenovo has swapped a VGA port for DisplayPort 1.4. Surprisingly, Lenovo has dropped a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a slower PCIe 3.0 x16 alternative.
The company has packaged these changes into a simplified design too, with the same 13.6-litre case volume as its predecessor. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
