Lenovo X16: New, particularly affordable and completely wireless headphones with good features and noise reduction
Lenovo may be known in this country for its notebooks, but the company is very broadly positioned as an electronics manufacturer. At the beginning of the year, we reported on the Lenovo XT80 and the particularly affordable headphones with earbuds. With the Lenovo X16, more classic, completely wireless headphones are now also available. Like other Lenovo headphones, the headphones are also listed at German retailers, but direct import could be particularly worthwhile in this case. Depending on the retailer, the headphones are offered for well under 15 euros, and shipping should also be relatively quick and free of import duties. Due to the low value of the goods, the risk in terms of warranty rights is limited.
The X16 are completely wireless headphones, each weighing just 4.5 grams. They have 14.2-millimeter drivers, which is a rather above-average value for headphones. This should result in a particularly high playback quality. As is now absolutely standard, these are not just headphones, but a headset system, as a microphone is installed in each case. The setup should also be able to reduce unwanted ambient noise.
Each headphone has a touch surface that allows music playback to be controlled and calls to be answered, for example. Low latency is advertised. IPX4 certification is specified and the total battery life is said to be up to 20 hours with intermediate charges. The charging status of the charging case is displayed by four LEDs. Data is transmitted via Bluetooth 5.2.
