The Lenovo V730 is a 13-inch notebook that has an 8th generation Intel Core processor inside (up to i7, of course) and features a business design that places it between the ThinkPad lineup and the IdeaPad family.

An unannounced business notebook by Lenovo has just surfaced out of nowhere, thanks to WinFuture's Ronald Quandt. Known as the Lenovo V730, this is a 13-inch portable that looks like the perfect machine to fill the design gap between the iconic business-class ThinkPad lineup and the consumer-oriented IdeaPad family.

When taking a closer look at the Lenovo V730, one can easily notice the lack of the pointing stick located in the center of the keyboard of most ThinkPads. On the other hand, the Lenovo V730 features an all-black design and comes with a fingerprint reader.

Ronald Quandt mentioned the following hardware specs in the Lenovo V730-related article he published on WinFuture earlier today: up to Intel Core i7-8550U processor, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM, and up to 512 GB PCIe SSD internal storage. The list of connectivity features includes an SD card reader, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.0 Type-C, Ethernet, and HDMI.

The Lenovo V730 is about 0.6 inches thick, weighs 2.6 pounds (could be a bit heavier or lighter depending on the hardware inside), and is powered by a 46 WHr battery.

There is no information about the price or the launch date of the Lenovo V730, but we expect it to arrive just in time for next year's Consumer Electronics Show that is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas as usual, in January.
