Reviews for the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen2-20VK000VGE
Lenovo has equipped its entry-level business convertible with an up-to-date Tiger Lake processor and a modern Thunderbolt 4 port. However, the compact ThinkPad still has to do without a 16:10 screen in this generation. Is the update worth it anyway?

We have to put that straight – this device is not the best out there for its money. Its performance could have been better, the battery life is okay, but nothing more than that, and its memory is soldered to the motherboard. However, one of its biggest perks is the display. Undoubtedly, a convertible laptop should boast a great panel. It’s more often than not that we are disappointed exactly by this aspect of a 2-in-1 device.

Lenovo says that this laptop is aimed at students, and people who work either at home or at the office. As such, it should provide a hassle-free experience and decent connectivity, combined with wide I/O. And a wide I/O it has. Among the numerous ports, you will find a Thunderbolt 4 connector, an Ethernet extension jack, and a MicroSD card slot.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
