Lenovo IdeaTab S2110 now on sale

Lenovo’s attempt at a “transforming” tablet is now up for sale on the company’s webstore

In keeping up with their quiet tablet rollout, Lenovo has now made their S2110 tablet available, just like they did with the S2109 earlier this month. The IdeaTab S2110 was first unveiled at CES, but made a stop at the FCC last month before being made available for purchase today.

Featuring a 10.1” IPS display with a 1280x800 pixel resolution, the S2110 is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon CPU to go along with 1GB of RAM and Android 4.0. Similar to ASUS's Transformer tablet, the IdeaTab can be outfitted with a keyboard dock that helps productivity by tacking on a pair of USB ports, an SD card reader and an additional 10 hours of battery life. The tablet also features a pair of front and rear-facing cameras and is available in 16GB or 32GB flavors.

Although the S2110 is officially listed at a starting price of $449, Lenovo is offering price cuts right off the bat. Thanks to an eCoupon currently being offered, the 16GB version can be purchased for $343 while the 32GB model is selling for $375. On the other hand, the keyboard dock will set potential buyers back an extra $56, but it still remains cheaper than ASUS’s offering.
