Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 now available for purchase
Lenovo’s IdeaPad Z570 first showed up on our radar back at CES along with a few other Lenovo laptops. 3 months later, Lenovo appears to have finally released the notebook and it can now be purchased via Lenovo’s online shop.
Although the Z570 comes in two different options, both feature a rather bland resolution of 1366x768 pixels on their 15.6” display. However, the lower end model will only come with a 2.10GHz Sandy Bridge Core i3-2310M processor and 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the other Z570 model will be equipped with a 2.50GHz Sandy Bridge Core i5-2520M processor and 6GB of RAM.
Otherwise, both laptops will come with a 500GB HDD, Intel Integrated HD 3000 Graphics, a 6 cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium. The Z570 also ventures away from Lenovo’s standard keyboard design and features a Chiclet style keyboard that lacks the iconic “pointing stick”.
As far as pricing goes, the Core i3 model of the notebook can be purchased now for $699, while the Core i5 version comes in at $999.
