Leak points to a new tablet from Acer

Teaser
The new device, currently listed under the code TA272HUL features an impressive high resolution display

Several benchmark databases have recently been found to include information about Acer's next 10-inch tablet named the TA272HUL or TA2 for short.

While details are still sparse, we do know that the upcoming product will have a 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 display, will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, and be powered by a Tegra 4 quad-core 1.8 GHz processor.

The 10-inch Android tablet market may not be quite as cut throat as the 7~8-inch market, but the TA2 will have to contend with the likes of the Excite Pro and Excite Write from Toshiba which offer the same high resolution and the same processor. It also remains to be seen whether Acer or Toshiba will gain any traction against Google, whose 10.1-inch Nexus 10 offers the same high resolution in its display despite already having been on the market for over half a year.

If Acer wants to be competitive and attract buyers' attention, the TA2 will either have to offer something more than what we've seen in the benchmarks or be able to beat the Toshiba Excite devices when it comes to price.
