After the Samsung Galaxy A07 4G launched back in August, the release of the 5G version now appears to be imminent, as the Galaxy A07 5G has already been spotted in the Google Play Console and a certification filing with Anatel. The design reportedly doesn’t differ much from the Galaxy A07 4G or the older Galaxy A06 (from $107 on Amazon). The relatively thick display bezels and notch apparently remain part of Samsung’s more affordable mid-range smartphones, even in 2026.
While both the direct predecessor and the 4G version are equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, the Galaxy A07 5G is said to feature a larger 6,000mAh battery. Samsung is expected to include a 15 watt charger, but it is not yet known if fast charging will be supported. The rest of the hardware remains almost identical, as Samsung is expected to opt for a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with two ARM Cortex A76 performance cores and six Cortex A55 efficiency cores.
As before, the display only offers a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. At least one version of the mid-range smartphone is said to sport 8GB RAM. Details on the remaining specifications, the launch date and price tag have not been unveiled thus far. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy A07 4G features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a side mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card reader. A notable feature in this price segment is that Samsung guarantees six major Android software updates.
