LG officially announced the availability of its latest flagship late last month with a slew of bundles and extras to encourage early adopters including a free Cam Plus add-on with every purchase. Now, the South Korean manufacturer is reminding everyone that the launch of the G5 starts tomorrow on March 31st for users in South Korea followed by a North American launch the very next day. Availability in European, Asian, and Middle Eastern territories will trickle over the the remainder of the month.
The G5 will be offered with most major carriers and retailers in Europe including Amazon.de, O2, Cyberport, Media Markt, Otto, Redcoon, Saturn, and Vodafone. In the U.S., the device will be offered with AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint as well. The smartphone has been completely redesigned from previous iterations of the series to include an always-on display, a metal body, and a slide-out bottom drawer called the Magic Slot to access the 2800 mAh battery and to attach proprietary add-ons called LG Friends.
Expect our full review on the device to come soon. The G5 faces competition against the recently released Galaxy S7 and the soon-to-be-announced HTC One M9 successor. The GUI overview below highlights a number of built-in apps and the LG Friends Manager.

- Cam Plus
- LG Hi-Fi Plus with B&O Play
