Deal | LG Gram Max 17 with Panther Lake processor, 32 GB RAM already discounted by $300

It's been just a month since the LG Gram Max 17 was released, and it's already down to just $1,299.99 at Best Buy and on LG's webshop. It features a 17-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 2,560 × 1,600, peak brightness of 350 nits, and 99% coverage of DCI-P3.
Under the hood, there's Intel's Core Ultra 7 355, a Panther Lake processor with four P-cores, four LP E-cores, and four Xe3 graphics cores. It's joined by 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD occupying one of the two M.2 slots (WD_Black SN7100 2 TB SSD curr. $349 on Amazon).
Connectivity consists of two Thunderbolt 4 ports (40 Gbps data transfer rate, DisplayPort, Power Delivery), a couple of 5 Gbps USB-A ports, HDMI, as well as a 3.5 mm audio combo jack. An Intel BE211 wireless card provides Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 support.
The notebook measures 14.9 × 10.4 × 0.57 inches (378 × 264 × 14.5 mm) and tips the scales at 3.39 lbs (1.54 kg), while packing a 77 Wh battery capable of charging at up to 65 W.
The LG Gram Max 17 is so new, it doesn't have any user reviews yet. However, it would've been nice to have an OLED panel at this price point, or at the very least a higher maximum brightness for HDR content.
