The new handset’s most distinguishing feature is the bundled stylus and the dedicated software package that helps fully utilize its potential.

AT&T has just announced the successor to its last year’s G Vista smartphone, dubbed the LG G Vista 2. The device comes with 5.7-inch, 1080p display, a yet unspecified octa-core processor (most likely Qualcomm Snapragon 615). The new handset’s most distinguishing feature, however, is the bundled stylus as well as an additional software package (including apps like Knock On, Knock Code, QSlide or Quick Memo) that helps take full advantage of the stylus.

Other specifications include 2 GB of RAM and 16 of on-board storage space (partly taken by the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system), expandable via micro-SD card reader. The main camera’s resolution is 13 MP while the front snapper allows taking 5 MP selfies. The main camera features laser autofocus and its software includes manual shooting mode.

Pricing and availability information has not been unveiled yet. At this point, it’s also unknown whether it will be available from any other carrier or retailer.
