Kraun Ktab 9704DD 9.7-inch tablet goes on sale in Italy

The Italian company Kraun has reportedly launched a new compact and lightweight tablet, dubbed as the Ktab 9704DD. According to the manufacturer, the “stylish” portable device is now available for purchase from various retailers and is priced at €199.90 (about $245).

Measuring 1-inch in thickness, the Ktab is equipped with a single-core ARM Cortex A8 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz and a 9.7-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) capacitive multi-touchscreen of 1024-by-768 pixels native resolution. Furthermore, Kraun’s new slate PC houses 1GB of internal DDR3 RAM and 4GB of storage, which is expandable by up to 32GB through the built-in microSD card slot.

The product data sheet also indicates the tablet features a VGA front-facing webcam and a 2MP rear-facing camera for taking pictures and shooting videos, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output, Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 adapters.

The Kraun Ktab 9704DD runs on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and comes with a built-in 6000 mAh battery that has an autonomy period of up to 6 hours on a single charge.
