Kindle Fire HD 8.9'' 4G LTE will be available at AT&T stores

Teaser
On April 5th AT&T will be making the Kindle Fire 8.9" 4G LTE available in the company’s retail outlets.

Though Amazon revealed its 16GB 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD back in September with a $299 price-tag, the 32GB 4G version added an extra $200 to the tablet’s price (bringing it up to a total of $499). The 4G Kindle Fire HD ended up shipping towards the end of November and is now, less than five months later, seeing a price drop of $100. The Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 4G LTE is currently selling for $399 on Amazon.

To reiterate the specs, the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" features a 1920 x 1200 IPS display (254 pixels per inch), TI OMAP 4470 processor and Imagination PowerVR SGX544 graphics, dual stereo speakers (delivering custom Dolby audio), a front-facing HD camera, dual Wi-Fi antennasmicro-HDMI out, and 10 hours of battery life.

Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD 8.9" with 32GB of storage (27.1GB available to user) and 4G LTE connectivity will be available at AT&T retail stores for $399 on Friday April 5th. It can also be had for $250 when bought in-store ($50 off) and coupled with a $15 per month data plan or Mobile Share plan (another $100 off).
