Amazon has put the Mac mini with M4 AI CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of SSD on sale at the lowest price ever of $549. This includes a $30 Amazon coupon for a $50 total discount off the $599 MSRP. Apple announced the latest M4 Mac mini on October 31.

The Mac mini on sale uses the latest M4 CPU with a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. One of the Neural Engine's jobs is to accelerate AI features called Apple Intelligence built into the latest macOS operating system. The AI features enable users to quickly summarize meetings, create AI-generated images, and complete work faster than ever.

The latest Mac has 5 USB-C ports, two of them up front. The two rear USB-C ports double as Thunderbolt 4 ports, supporting a maximum of three external displays, with two at a maximum 6K resolution at 60Hz and one at a maximum of 5K at 60Hz. The Mac mini also has an HDMI port on the back.

Wireless connectivity is possible over Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.3, and wired connectivity is possible with gigabit Ethernet. Audio output is provided through the 3.5mm headphone jack and built-in speaker. The M4 mini measures 2.0 x 5.0 x 5.0 inches (5.0 x 12.7 x 12.7 cm) and weighs 1.5 pounds (0.67 kg).
