CES 2016 | International launch of the Huawei Mate 8
As Huawei has announced during the CES, the 6 inch flagship Mate 8, which has already been introduced in November and is only available in China so far, will already be available in Europe in January.
In terms of hardware, the phablet uses a 6 inch NEO IPS display and a brand new Kirin 950 SoC. In addition, there are a 16 MP camera with optical image stabilization and fast phase detection auto focus (Sony IMX298) on board. A special highlight might be the very big 4000 mAh battery, which is supposed to ensure a usage time of two days. A fingerprint reader makes the rich features set complete.
The Ascend Mate 7 was already launched in 2014 and left a very good impression in our review, in particular because of its elegant case and great display.
