Introduced in November 2021 alongside the Intel Core i9-12900K, the Intel Core i9-12900KF arrived on the market with a US$574 price tag. This processor is basically a 12900K without the UHD 770 iGPU. Right now, the Amazon list price shows a higher value than the aforementioned release price, specifically US$676.25. However, the ongoing 36% discount brings the Intel Core i9-12900KF down to US$429.99.
In addition to the discount for the processor, Amazon is also offering a bundle deal that includes the Intel Core i9-12900KF and the MSI MEG Z690 Unify gaming motherboard. The discount for the bundle items is 27%, so those interested will pay US$849.98 instead of the US$1,166.24 list price. A dedicated graphics adapter and a cooling solution able to handle the 125 W TDP of this processor must also be added to the shopping list.
The 331 user reviews posted so far have resulted in a 4.7/5 global rating for the Intel Core i9-12900KF, with no less than 86% being perfect scores. At the time of publishing, only 17 units were left, but the stock was supposed to be refreshed in a timely manner. The deal does not have a time limit, so it will probably run as long as supplies last.
