Intel Core i5-14600KF shows up on Geekbench with decent performance gains over the Core i5-13600KF

Thanks to a barrage of recent leaks, a wealth of information is available for Intel's Raptor Lake refresh, which is scheduled to launch in October 2023. Unlike the Core i7-14700K, which will include additional cores and threads, the Core i5-14600K has the same configuration as its predecessor. Despite that, the generation-over-generation performance gains aren't all that bad if a recent Geekbench listing is accurate.

The Intel Core i5-14600KF scores 2,794 in Geekbench's single-core test, making it about 6% faster than the Core i5-13600KF. It may not be anything to write home about, but one can only expect a little from a mid-gen refresh. On the multi-core test, the Core i5-14600KF nets 17,190 points, about 16% faster than its last-gen counterpart.

One can, in part, attribute the Intel Core i5-14600KF's performance to the 32 GB of DDR5 6,000 memory on the test bench. The listing also confirms that the processor's boost clock is set at 5.3 GHz. That said, Geekbench isn't the best performance benchmark out there, and one should wait for something that stresses the CPU more, like Cinebench.
