Reviews for the Infinix Zero Ultra

By now, you must have already realised from this review that the Infinix Zero Ultra 5G has its fair share of flaws. The smartphone scores well for design, display size, and fast charging experience. The 200-megapixel camera could use better optimisation to get the best results. While the 180W fast charging is super quick, actual battery life is not as good. There's no Android 13 either and while the update is expected, there is no confirmation of when that will happen. Unless you want a phone that charges fully in in 15 minutes, there are better performing options in this price range. All in all, I think the Infinix Zero Ultra is a hard sell for Rs 36,999 as other options such as the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G or the iQoo Neo 6 offer a better experience and cost a lot less.

This phone has a 6.8-inch curved-edge 120Hz AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor, which instantly gives it a premium feel. Content runs pretty smoothly and the display is quite sharp. With a peak brightness of 900 nits, viewing content on this panel shouldn't be a problem in most conditions. The Infinix Zero Ultra has a 4500mAh battery and comes with a 180W fast-charging adaptor. Infinix claims the phone can charge up to 100 percent in just 12 minutes. The Infinix Zero Ultra is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and supports 5G. In India, the Infinix Zero 20 is available in just one configuration, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for Rs. 15,999. The Infinix Zero Ultra is available for Rs. 29,999 for the sole 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. Let us know what you think about these new offerings in the comments.

For the last few years, Infinix is working on Zero-series phones, and year after year, they have improved the overall quality of the smartphone. Infinix Zero Ultra smartphone is the byproduct of their struggle, and it shows in real-time usage. Though, the phone might not have a performance to par with the flagship phone. But still, other aspects compensated for those shortcomings to some extent. If the Zero Ultra is present in your country, we would recommend you purchase this phone to try something new and out of the box. But be aware that you will get delayed Android updates in the upcoming years. Anyway, there are a few smartphones that can outperform this phone, and the best alternative would be Vivo X90 is a value-for-money deal with its specs and features.

The Infinix Zero Ultra is a good phone for its price, but there are some ifs and buts. Infinix has offered a premium design and has tried to offer features to match the overall vibe of the phone. The phone packs a ton of good features, like the 180W fast charging and 120Hz display. The hardware you get is really capable. The performance is good for everyday use and will suffice for gaming. The main camera took some really nice shots in daylight. However, I feel it’s not up to the mark of a 200MP camera. The battery performance is decent and the charging speed is just really fast. At the same time, the UI is far from good. There’s a lot of work needed to be done by the brand in XOS. At last, I’m not sure if spending 30K on an Infinx phone would be a wise decision considering you only get a good display with super fast charging speeds.

The Infinix ZERO ULTRA gets a lot of things right, it looks and feels like a flagship smartphone with that curved display and textured back. Its screen gets very bright and is very sharp, while the camera system more or less takes great shots in most scenarios, with some software hiccups here and there that we hope Infinix would fix with a software update. It’s not hard to take a look at the device though, coming in at PHP 21,999 for the lone 8GB + 256GB model, that’s a pretty sweet deal for what you get. Watch out also flash sales that the company has which will bring down the price of the device even more. There’s not a lot of compromise here especially with that 180W Thunder Charge, it is a game changer in how you use your smartphone.

In terms of storage, the device offers a single 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage option, and you also get a dedicated microSD slot.
