Reviews for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+

Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ Audio test
Source: DxOMark English
With an overall DXOMARK Audio score of 138, the Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ delivered a very decent performance even though it was outranked by other devices in the Ultra Premium segment. In our tests, we found both playback and recording to be strongly impacted by digital signal processing (DSP), which brought some positives, such as very effective audio zoom and wind-noise reduction as well as a good signal-to-noise ratio, but the DSP also caused some issues, including compression, an exaggerated fake bass, and other artifacts. Overall, the device offered a very pleasant timbre in both playback and recording, but it would definitely benefit from more consistent processing. Playback performance in terms of timbre was best when watching movies, followed by gaming and then music. Results tended to vary greatly based on the tonal contents. In recording, the Huawei’s timbre and envelope were best with the main camera, when compared to the selfie and memo use cases.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus Smartphone Review
Source: OI Spice Tech News English
Huawei offered many impressive features on their latest flagship smartphone be it robust fast charging options or whether we talk about sensors. The device also comes equipped with an immersive OLED panel, a flagship camera, and many more features. The smartphone is not going to interrupt you on daily tasks and multitasking. However, those who plan for hardcore gaming and those who don’t have issues with a camera must go for something else. The Huawei Mate 60 Pro Plus offers a decent deal for camera-centric users while the same can’t be said for gaming as better alternatives are available in the market in the same segment. Apart from this, the device lacks 8K recording support, better nits brightness support, and a flagship chipset even when flagship flip phones are already present. Therefore, in our opinion, the device is good to go with while you also get better deals at the same pricing. So, check out Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate and compare before arriving at any conclusion, however, the final decision is up to you and your requirements.

Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ Camera test
Source: DxOMark English
The Mate 60 Pro+ is Huawei’s latest flagship device in its Mate Pro series that continues to test the limits of high-performing smartphone cameras. Thanks to the upgraded imaging hardware and Huawei’s imaging software expertise, the Mate 60 Pro+ delivered excellent results in the DXOMARK Camera tests, capturing the top spot in our ranking. The Huawei is the best device tested to date for still imaging, delivering great photo results across all use cases. Our testers particularly liked the excellent trade-off between detail retention and noise reduction, the accurate target exposure, wide dynamic range and pleasant color rendering. When shooting in low light, exposure remained pleasant and the level of captured detail remained high. Thanks to its variable aperture that optimizes depth-of-field for each scene, the Mate 60 Pro+ is also an excellent option for group portraits, achieving good sharpness on all subjects in the frame.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
