Reviews for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro
Source: DxOMark
The Huawei Mate 60 Pro’s display provided a very satisfying user experience overall. The screen’s readability generally maintained the same level as its predecessor, although low-light readability lacked some necessary brightness. We noted that the device’s brightness at midnight was less intense than the screen brightness activated in low light during the day, presumably to prevent dazzling users’ eyes with strong light in the dark. Readability outdoors was good, even though brightness could be a bit low. When the device was placed in an extremely bright environment, the device’s screen luminance measured a peak of 1645 cd/m² . Indoor lighting was a good environment for watching videos on the Mate 60 Pro thanks to appropriate brightness, but when luminance was at its peak, dark tones in the HDR10 content would slightly lack some details.

The Huawei Mate 60 Pro is a very controversial and important phone, because it's more than just a phone. It's currently the center of a US/China geopolitical beef right now. Basically, this phone came out of nowhere to run on Huawei's own SoC, an act that the US government thought was not possible. But beyond the drama, this phone has a really damn good camera too -- of course I tried it out. And also, does this phone support 5G networks? I think it does.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
