Huawei Gets things done. Huawei now releases a Windows 8 smartphone on the market dubbed Ascend W1. It features a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 SoC and a 4 GB internal flash memory. With a street price of below 200 Euros (~$259), it wants to cater to new smartphone users and price conscious buyers.

Huawei's Ascend W1 is a well-crafted device that'll impress anyone making their first tentative steps into the world of smartphones. If you're only motivated by price, aren't fussed about the limited storage options and won't be taking a lot of pictures, then this is an eminently sensible purchase.

Qualcomm Adreno 305: Integrated mid-range graphics card in the Snapdragon 400 and S4 Plus SoCs that supports OpenGL ES 3.0 and features unified shaders.
These graphics cards are not suited for Windows 3D games. Office and Internet surfing however is possible.
