The Honor 7S is a mid-ranger that has been very popular since its release in May 2018. Its 5.45 HD screen, quad-core 1.5GHz MediaTek chip, update to Android Oreo 8.1 and metal unibody build make it a solid option for those without much cash for a new smartphone.
Honor recently decided to put the 7S on sale through the Indian e-retailer Flipkart for the first time. Its page attracted so much interest that the phone was reported to sell out in about 7 minutes. This shows the power of the flash sale in markets such as India - for those quick enough to benefit from them, at least.
Unlike many more expensive Huawei phones, the Honor 7S only has single-module cameras on the front (5MP) and rear (15MP) of the device. However, it also has a front-facing LED (the 'Selfie Light') which is promoted as delivering clearer images from the secondary camera. Phones such as the 7S may have helped Honor to ship US$2.5 billion worth of stock by 2017. Clearly, features such as those are what many people want.
