Archive.org versionThe Envy has little to offer beyond its stylish looks. It’s not terribly fast, won’t play games particularly well, and it has a poor screen. But if you simply want a lightweight 15.6in laptop with strong battery life, the HP should appeal. We award three stars.

Archive.org versionBeyond its streamlined looks the HP Envy Ultrabook 6-1010ea doesn't have a great deal to offer. It's no powerhouse, won't play games particularly well and there's no optical drive. But if your needs are modest and you need a more lightweight 15in laptop for web browsing and other undemanding tasks, the HP Envy should deliver, helped by good battery life.
