The latest EliteBook carries almost everything you want from an Ultrabook: tablet mode, super-bright display, 4G LTE, Thunderbolt 3, NFC, crisp keyboard, narrow bezels, long battery life... the list goes on and on. Just be ready to pay a hefty price when fully configured.

The EliteBook does just enough to warrant consideration for your business in our opinion. While there are drawbacks to the machine, there are other selling points it has in its favour, such as being more powerful than a similarly spec'd-out Surface Book 2. The EliteBook will also be an attractive option to those who frequently work outdoors as the anti-glare display coating isn't common but is definitely a game changer as far as nature-bound computing experiences go.

The EliteBook x360 1040 G5 is the apex predator of the business laptop world, a magnificent beast with a big punch, but also a bigger price tag (compared to its rivals). There’s a lot to like about it but the competition is ferocious out there, both in terms of features and sales pitches. Shop wisely.

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 is one of the best PCs that I've used in a long time. It's really just phenomenal. I refuse to call any laptop perfect, because in a world of billions of devices, there's always something better out there. But this is one of those that I really want to call perfect.

HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5-5SR13EAABD
The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5-5SR13EAABD is a convertible laptop that is powered for business. The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 is based on an aluminum case, which makes a very stable and high quality impression. The ultrabook makes a very durable impression due to the solid hinges on the case. To use the convertible feature, all users have to do is rotate the display almost 360 degrees. The inner workings of the HP Ultrabook can certainly deliver. It has 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, which can provide for a very comfortable memory size, for demanding applications as well as the storage of larger files such as pictures, music or videos. The processor is a Kaby Lake R Intel Core i7 8550U eighth generation used. The four-core processor operates at 1,800 MHz and achieves a strong 4,000 MHz in Turbo Boost. HP is using the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 as graphics solution. It is fast enough if users want to watch videos and use standard applications. However, current games or demanding video editing will not do well under this setup. The laptop has a 14-inch touch display, which can be used with the included Active Stylus. The display brightness very strong. The screen shines so very bright, users can read the screen very well under bright environmental lighting. Coverage of the sRGB color space at 96 percent and the AdobeRGB color space at 73 percent is decent. The display comes with the Sure-View Integrated Privacy Screen feature. It can be activated by a key combination and should better protect the display content from unauthorized third-party views. With about 9.5 hours of battery life watching videos and just under 6 hours in office mode, the notebook does not set new records, but still delivers decent results. When it comes to connections, the notebook has an HDMI port so users can connect a projector, monitor or TV to the device. It also has four USB ports, two of them Type-C with Thunderbolt 3 and two USB 3.0 Type A. Users who are traveling a lot will be pleased that the Ultrabook has a slot for an optional Nano-SIM card on its left side, so they can easily switch to the Internet without having to set up a WLAN connection via smartphone. As a conclusion, the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5-5SR13EAABD is a convertible laptop that delivers decent performance despite its lightweight and ultraportable build. The connectivity feature of the laptop is a strong point for users who travel often. It is suitable for business users who often work on the go. 14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
