Galaxy TabPro 8.4 owners can already pre-order the new case for $64.99 USD, while those for the Galaxy Tab4 series will arrive in June.

Next to cases and covers for Apple's entire range of smartphones, laptops, tablets and media players, as well as for Amazon's Kindle or smartphones from most major brands, Griffin Technology also manufactures and sells cases for Samsung's tablets and smartphones. The latest additions to its portfolio are the extreme-duty Survivor cases for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab4 series, as well as for the Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 Android tablet.

Advertised by Griffin as "the most protective case possible for everyday use," the Survivor case meets the US Department of Defense Standard 810G and protects the device inside it "from the most extreme conditions including dust, sand, rain, drops, shock, vibration and a host of other environmental factors."

These are the cases that have been announced in the official press release, the colors available and their prices:

  • Survivor for Samsung Galaxy TabPro 8.4 (black) - $64.99 USD
  • Survivor for Samsung Galaxy Tab4 7.0 (black, blue, pink) - $59.99 USD
  • Survivor for Samsung Galaxy Tab4 8.0 (black) - $64.99 USD
